Creativity…

Children are amazing! When given the challenge, or when faced with the need, they can put together just about anything. Forced to be creative with their inventions because of the lack of resources and equipment, it’s inspiring what we’ve seen so far…
  • a serenade with a tin can fiddle (held together with a few strings) when we stopped to look at a waterfall.
  • a soccer ball made from twisted together plastic bags.

What else will the next generation of inventors show us?

I absolutly love this blog. The little boys faces in this picture really humbled me. It is inspiring to see that simple things can make a child happy. If only things could be more simple all around the world, then it might be a better place to live in. People would not be fighting for power or riches. Anna, you are truly an inspiration. I admire you so much! We miss you at home, but understand the love you have for Africa. If only we could all follow in your footsteps!!! Imagine the change that could happen.
